From the sun-kissed shores of Jamaica, where her heart first began its journey, Eilean remains deeply rooted in her heritage. Her frequent visits back home are not just nostalgic trips, but soulful reminders of where her journey began. As she has journeyed through life, her bond with her mother has transformed beautifully into a deep and enduring friendship, one that has weathered many a storm together.
Eilean’s love for nature, kindled by her cherished childhood days on the beach, their family cottage and her grandparent’s farm, instilled in her a conscious and compassionate way of life. These early experiences have also shaped her dietary choices, leading her to consume mostly whole verses processed foods.
Adversity has touched her, but Eilean perceives herself as a fortunate woman who has encountered some unfortunate twists and turns. She has navigated life’s challenging terrain with grace, constantly pushing herself to emerge as the best version of herself, even when the clouds seem unrelenting.
For Eilean, life is an intricate tapestry of experiences teaching us profound lessons in love and connection. At the heart of her universe are her children, her unparalleled blessings. Eilean’s parenting approach, perhaps unconventional, resonates deeply with this belief…
But life, in its unpredictable flow, brought with it the heart-wrenching loss of her eldest son, Brady Boy, in May 2020. It brought immeasurable grief and darkness, but it also paved the way for a profound transformation. In her heartbreak, “Healing Hearts Thrive (HHT)” was born, a testament to her resilience and her commitment to serve others.
Described best, perhaps, as a ‘Mama Bear’. Family is the anchor of Eilean’s heart and her strength. With a heart spread across many passions - from cherishing family moments, immersing in captivating books, reveling in the embrace of the outdoors, to sharing sweet moments with her step pup, Kriket - she finds joy in life’s simple pleasures.
In serving others, Eilean has found a profound calling. Despite her introverted nature, she has risen as a voice of hope, sharing her lessons and insights with warmth and wisdom.
